Flood RestorationWater damage to a building can be caused by an array of different reasons, from a burst water tank or leaky pipe to local flooding. As soon as we receive the call from the customer, our office dispatch one of our friendly, experienced flood restoration technicians immediately. Upon arrival our technician carries out a full site survey to evaluate the damage. This includes an in depth inspection of the affected areas within the property. After the initial survey a tailored drying plan for the property will be put together to ascertain the perfect drying conditions for the property. First and foremost the key to dealing with any flood is to remove the standing water as soon as possible to prevent secondary damage. We have our own fleet of liquid Vacuumation Units with the capability of removing between three and twenty tons of liquid at any one time. Mantank Environmental Services are also licensed to remove hazardous and non-hazardous liquids including sewage. After the excess water has been removed the next step is to start the remediation works, which would include the removal of all affected materials (carpets, skirting boards, plasterboard etc). Once this is completed we would put the drying plan into operation. The installation of dehumidifiers and fans are placed in position and the drying process will begin. Mantank Environmental Services use refrigerant and desiccant humidifiers therefore maximising drying in different temperatures. One of our technicians periodically visits the property to access the drying process by taking surface, in depth and hygrometer box readings, with Protimeter Reading Equipment. Once the readings are back to pre-condition a drying certificate in issued in order to certify that the property is back to its pre-damaged state.*** Do contact us or review the documents below for further information regarding all aspects of property restoration, be it fire damage restoration, water damage, flood damage restoration, graffiti removal and/or chemical cleaning. |

After a fire, the restoration works should only be carried out effectively by the professionals. There are many different types of fires which produce different types of residue and require specialist restoration. Speed is of the essence as soot is an acid and needs to be neutralised as soon as possible. For instance if after a fire soot is left on a UPVC window and not removed or neutralised as soon as possible, the soot would stain and pit the frames beyond economical repair. The fast response of our dedicated Fire Damage Restoration Team ensures the first steps to stopping secondary damage are put into place immediately. Once the call has been received by our office an experienced and highly trained member of our Fire Damage Restoration Team is dispatched. Upon arrival a full survey is carried out. When the survey has been completed the remedial works will begin which will include the removal and disposal of all affected items. As soon as these works are complete the smoke de-contamination works can be carried out on the buildings.
Once Mantank Environmental Services have finished the decontamination works we will ozone the property which involves readjusting the molecular structure of the air born particles removing all soot residues in the air, walls and floor thus no smell remaining in the property. When this is all completed the property will then be ready for reinstatement works to take place. Mantank Environmental Services use the most cutting edge technology and methods for fire de-contamination works available. One of our most efficient methods is high pressure cleaning with specialised Media. This can be used on various surfaces (bricks, blocks, beams etc) to remove soot residue effectively. By using this method and not liquids there is no further ingress and contamination of the materials affected.
