Mantank's range of mobile dewatering units contains all the necessary equipment to process a wide range of sludges from municipal to industrial locations.
A number of our units also use "polymiser” centrifuges which are specifically designed to reduce polymer consumption by adding the chemical in a specially designed dosing area within the centrifuge itself, therefore reducing the real cost of choosing Mantank over others. Our mobile dewatering units are complete trailer or container mounted production systems that can be delivered to a customer's site at short notice (often the next working day) and can be fully operational within hours.

Contract Dewatering & Lagoon Cleaning A typical application for the mobile centrifuge plant is the cleaning/emptying of on-site storage lagoons using a combination of pumps, tanks and mixers. Mantank can also undertake the full extraction of heavier solids within the lagoons using long reach excavators, dumpers and even soft tracked equipment operating within the lagoon if it is of a rubber lined type. Mantank will also undertake the reclamation of the lagoon banks, landscaping and safety fencing around the area if requested.Our experienced engineers will attend site initially to undertake a full audit of the customer's requirements, taking sludge samples for polymer assessment and then estimating the exact quantity of sludge to be extracted and agreeing the working area and time scale for the project. A full risk assessment and method statement will be provided prior to the project being undertaken. Our turnkey packages can be priced on per m3 processed or per dry ton of solids produced and can include the following supply on a fixed price basis:- • Equipment rental • Chemical • Fuel • Labour • Coke disposal • Project management • Documentation  The most common uses for mobile equipment are to provide additional resources to meet season demand for lagoon emptying, cover during maintenance or as part of a disaster recovery program following a major breakdown.For simplicity of installation the complete system is housed in a purpose built articulated trailer or shipping containers depending on capacity, with all equipment readily installed for a complete dewatering plant. The fully enclosed system creates an operator friendly environment with minimal risk of contact with sludge, coke and vapours. Mantank are able to supply fully trained staff to who are responsible for the safe and optimum operation of the plant. Because the plant is fully automated, it is possible for the clients own staff to be trained to operate the system.
